The Jamie Larcombe Centre Partnerships Hub Governing Committee
During the consultation process for The Jamie Larcombe Centre, the veteran community highlighted the need for a one stop shop where information, people and services could be accessed to support the individual needs of veterans, their families and carers. Accordingly, a Partnerships Hub is being established in a heritage listed building adjacent to the Centre to provide a single point of contact to access important services provided by ex-service organisations (ESOs) while enabling ESOs to collaborate and share expertise and resources to meet the needs of veterans.
The Partnerships Hub will be established as part of Veterans SA through a Memorandum of Administrative Agreement with the Department of Health and Ageing. A Governing Committee has been appointed following an Expression of Interest process and approved by the Minister for Health. The Committee will be chaired by the Director, Veterans SA. The Committee’s initial task will be to refine its draft Terms of Reference, and to develop processes and procedures to govern the operations of the Hub. The initial governing committee will comprise:
Mr Rob Manton (Director, Veterans SA, Chair)

Mr Paul Flynn (CEO Hospital Research Foundation)
Mr Corey Starkey (Former CEO RSL-SA)
Mr Ben Challinor (Program Manager, Andrew Russell Veteran Living, RSL Care)
Mr Mike von Berg MC OAM (President, Royal Australian Regiment Association)
A Coordinator position is to be established for a trial period of 12 months to act as the full time presence at the Hub to oversee general operations, coordinate activities and provide a consistent welcome to the veteran community.
