Anzac Day Projections in SA – Port Lincoln

Tuesday 25 April, 2017
6.00am - 6.20am
War Memorial Eyre Park (opposite Port Lincoln Hotel)

To commemorate Anzac Day 2017 a series of free Anzac Day projections in South Australia has been produced by Illuminart, with the support of Veterans SA and the History Trust of South Australia. They have partnered with local artists to produce individual projection displays tailored for each location. All of the ANZAC Day projections will be shown at night, similar to the amazing Story Wall at the State Library.

These colourful Anzac Day projections will take place in four places around South Australia, and will share the unique stories of each regional communities’ contributions to Australia’s Anzac
Legacy. Many of the stories were collected as part of the Cheer Up Hut Club which toured regional South Australia.

The display tells a very moving story of humanity, started as World War I soldier Edgar Parham lay dying at Fromelles in France.
